Ellie was born on June 18, 1965, as the eldest child of Arthur and Arlene Coleman-Schwimmer. Ellie’s parents were originally from Ukraine, but they relocated to the United States. Initially, the family resided in New York City. After Ellie’s parents found success as divorce attorneys, the family relocated to Los Angeles.

Ellie and her brother attended a school in Beverly Hills where the family resided. After graduating from high school, Ellie chose to focus on a similar career to her parents. She joined Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and majored in a law career. She graduated in 2001 and began working in Los Angeles.

In 2005, Ellie walked down the aisle and exchanged vows. She married Sandro Carotti on October 15, 2005, leading to a blissful marriage. Ellie has been by Carotti’s side since 2005, but is unclear how many children they share. Talking about her brother, David is a talented actor and director, who has appeared in several films. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, David began acting in minor roles. His first support role was in A Deadly Silence (1989). After numerous small roles, he finally landed his regular role in Montly, where he had the role of Henry Winkler’s son.

David Schimmer got his career breakthrough in 1994 when he acted in “Friends”, an NBC sitcom. While David had second thoughts about participating in the series, it became a huge success, with time, enabling millions of viewers in the United States to know David.
